Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti could remain at the club for next season despite having been linked with a move away for much of the summer.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that despite there being no shortage of clubs looking to sign the 22-year-old, a move away is not a guarantee.

Empoli, Hellas Verona, and Udinese have all inquired about signing Pinamonti, and Fiorentina also consider him a target to replace Dusan Vlahovic in the event that the Serb departs.

The striker performed well in the friendly against Dynamo Kiev which has solidified the interest of other clubs, but also has made Inter reconsider letting him leave, with the club also seeing him as an option given the shortage of strikers in the squad.

Pinamonti could yet depart before the end of the transfer window, either on loan or on a permanent sale, but a stay at Inter is not out of the question.
