Inter could miss out on attacking target Duvan Zapata, with the Colombian’s current club Atalanta unwilling to sell him until they identify a replacement.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who reported earlier today that the striker would only be allowed to depart in the event that a suitable player is found to take over from him next season.

Zapata is one of the main names on the Nerazzurri’s list as they search for a striker following Romelu Lukaku’s sale to Chelsea, and they are trying to find a way to bring him in from Bergamo.

Should La Dei find the right player to directly replace Zapata, then their stance could soften and the Nerazzurri could begin the process of bringing him in.

However, as long as the Bergamo-based club do not feel that they have found the right option to replace him, they will not considering dealing for the Colombian.
