Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez still wants a move to Inter, and is not interested in joining any clubs in the Premier League despite offers.

This according to Italian news outlet la Repubblica, via FCInter1908, who report that the 25-year-old is still pushing for a move to the Nerazzurri, but that there is some distance before his current club will agree on a deal.

Nandez had been close to a move to Inter with the Nerazzurri seeing the versatile Uruguayan as a replacement for Achraf Hakimi on the right, but after the sale of Romelu Lukaku they pursued their first-choice option Romelu Lukaku instead and talks with Cagliari broke down.

Several offers have come in for Nandez from the Premier League, but he does not intend to accept them and is still hoping that a move to Inter can go through.

The Rossoblu are not currently open to letting the player leave on loan with an option to buy, which is the formula that Inter want, and the Nerazzurri would have to do some work to convince the Sardinian club on a move for him.

It remains to be seen whether the Nandez’s desire will move Cagliari to accept an offer from Inter before the end of the window.
