Inter are not close to signing Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic on loan, and will prioritize the arrival of other strikers this summer.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInter1908, who report that the Nerazzurri have denied the report by Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo claiming that the 23-year-old is close to making the switch to Inter on loan.

Jovic is out of favour at his current club, who are actively seeking a new destination for him, and the Nerazzurri are among the latest names linked with a move for him.

Mundo Deportivo report that there have been talks between Real Madrid and Inter which have brought the player close to a loan move to the Giuseppe Meazza, but the Nerazzurri deny this.

The Nerazzurri are still focusing on three targets in their search for an attacking reinforcement before the end of the transfer – Lazio’s Joaquin Correa, Atalanta’s Duvan Zapata, and Napoli’s Lorenzo Insigne – and Jovic is not a serious target for them.
