Inter are considering a move for Wolfsburg centre-forward Wout Weghorst as they search for one more striker following the arrival of Edin Dzeko.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reported on air moments ago that the Nerazzurri are tracking the 29-year-old, who would cost around €15-20 million.

Inter’s search for a striker is in high gear, with Atalanta’s Duvan Zapata and Lazio’s Joaquin Correa among their major targets, but Weghorst’s name is also on their list and his profile is seriously being considered.

It remains to be seen how amenable Wolfsburg would be to an offer at this stage of the transfer window and if the Nerazzurri would move for the Dutchman over other targets, but he is on their list and they are evaluating the feasibility of bringing him in this summer.

Weghorst joined Wolfsburg from Dutch side AZ in the summer of 2018, making 122 appearances and scoring 65 goals for the Bundesliga side so far in his career, and has also become a regular Dutch international since joining his current club, appearing in all four of the EURO 2020 matches.
