Inter have narrowed their search for a striker this summer down to three names, with one of Lorenzo Insigne, Duvan Zapata, or Joaquin Correa set to arrive before the end of the transfer window.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the trio are the only names that the Nerazzurri are considering as they look to sign one more striker following Romelu Lukaku’s departure.

Edin Dzeko has already arrived from Roma, but the Nerazzurri are not finished with their search for attacking reinforcements, with Atalanta’s Zapata currently the top target.

The Colombian wants a move, and his agent is expected to be in Italy soon to work on his situation, but his current club do not want to let him leave without first securing a replacement.

Zapata is considered to be the player with the right attributes to directly replace Lukaku, but he is not the only player who could arrive.

Lazio’s Correa is also liked by the club, and has asked his club to allow him to leave and join Inter, although it remains to be seen if an agreement can ultimately be found with the Biancocelesti.

Lastly, the Nerazzurri continue to monitor the situation of Lorenzo Insigne at Napoli, who is yet to agree on a new deal with the Parternopei with his current contract set to expire at the end of June 2022.
