Young Inter striker Martin Satriano could be destined for a role in the Nerazzurri’s first team next season.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who argue that the Uruguayan merits a place in the senior squad based on his stellar preseason performances.

Satriano enjoyed a strong campaign with the Inter Primavera side last season, and he has been following it up in preseason with the main squad, scoring twelve goals in the friendlies that he has played in.

The 20-year-old has impressed in training and in friendlies, and he could already be seen as a real option to join the attacking rotation by Inter manager Simone Inzaghi.

It still remains to be seen what the Nerazzurri’s full complement of forward players will look like going into next season, with one more signing expected following the arrival of Edin Dzeko, but in any case Stariano should not be overlooked.
