Inter midfielder Lucien Agoume has signed a contract extension with the Nerazzurri, with his new deal keeping him at the club until the end of June 2024.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that now that the 19-year-old’s contract renewal is wrapped up he could be sent out on loan to Saint-Etienne imminently.

Agoume returned to Inter this summer after spending last season on loan with Spezia, and his immediate future has remained up in the air for much of the transfer window.

The Nerazzurri’s priority has been to secure his future with a contract extension, and this has finally been completed.

Up next the player will be sent out on loan, with the priority being to find a club at which he will receive regular playing time so that he can develop within the senior game, and Ligue 1 side Saint-Etienne look to be leading the chase for him and could complete his signing on loan soon.
