Inter defender Stefan de Vrij looks set to extend his current contract with the Nerazzurri, with a new deal which will take him until the end of June 2025.
This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that the Dutchman has agreed terms on a new deal worth a net of €4.5 million per season with the club, and should sign the contract officially in the next few days.
De Vrij is an important player at the Giuseppe Meazza, with his status as part of the club’s first-choice back three virtually untouchable, and the club will hope to secure his future very soon.
The 29-year-old has attracted interest from a number of major European clubs, with teams in the Premier League in particular closely following him.
However, he now looks set to commit his future to the Nerazzurri, though for now he has not yet formalized the agreement and the club are waiting for the contract to be made official.
