There is still significant interest around Serie A in taking Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti on loan for next season, though the 22-year-old’s future remains undecided.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who list Hellas Verona and Sampdoria among Pinamonti’s suitors but note that Empoli are still the club keenest on bringing him in.

Pinamonti has been expected to depart from Inter for much of this summer, though as of yet no agreement has been found with a club to take him in.

Empoli continue to target him and could move for him decisively soon, but they are also considering other transfer business and have already brought in one centre-forward in the form of Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Patrick Cutrone on loan.

Meanwhile, Verona and Sampdoria are both seriously pursuing Pinamonti, though it remains to be seen if their interest could materialize in an offer which would secure his move away from the Giuseppe Meazza on loan.
