Inter have come to an agreement on personal terms for a move with Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata, but have yet to meet La Dei’s valuation of him.

This according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com, who report that an agreement is in place with the Colombian and his entourage for a deal worth €3 million net per season, but that his current club want €40 million for him.

Zapata is a major target for the Nerazzurri in their search for a striker before the end of the transfer window and they are speeding up the process of trying to bring him in, with the player ready to make the switch.

However, they are still far from meeting Atalanta’s valuation for the 30-year-old, with the Bergamo-based club not close to being convinced by their offer of €40 million for him.

It remains to be seen if an agreement can be found with Atalanta, or if Inter will be forced to move on to other targets before the window shuts.
