Inter have not made any move for Lazio striker Joaquin Correa, and right now the club with the firmest interest in him are Everton.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that the Argentine is not a priority for the Nerazzurri at the moment.

Correa is thought to be liked by head coach Simone Inzaghi as an arrival in the search for attacking reinforcements following Romelu Lukaku’s departure, but directors Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio are not moving for him yet, with Atalanta’s Duvan Zapata still the main target.

Spanish champions Atletico Madrid have also entered the race for Correa, but for now the club that are pushing hardest for him are Everton, though it remains to be seen whether the player wants a move to the Premier League.

The 26-year-old could become a more serious target especially if deals for other targets do not materialize, but for now he is only an idea in the background.
