Contacts have been made between Inter and Lazio about a possible move for Argentine striker Joaquin Correa to the Nerazzurri.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Il Messaggero, who report that the Biancocelesti plan to sell the 26-year-old, and could agree on terms with Inter for a fee of around €30 million plus add-ons.

Correa is one of Inter’s main targets in their search for a striker before the end of the transfer window, and should they step up their interest a deal could be reached very soon, with his club ready to agree terms on a sale.

So far, the Nerazzurri have not yet made a firm push to bring the Argentine in, however, and are still only in talks for him.

Should Inter not decide him, he is likely to still be on his way out from Lazio, with clubs in the Premier League and La Liga thought to be interested in his signature.
