Atalanta’s Duvan Zapata is Inter’s top target in their search for a striker to replace Romelu Lukaku, but they face difficulty signing him as his current club do not want to sell him before finding a replacement.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Colombian is still the player who the Nerazzurri are pushing hardest for, but that they may have to turn to other targets instead.

The Nerazzurri are making a push to bring in Zapata as the priority in their search for an attacker with the season close at hand and the end of the transfer window only two weeks away, but so far they have proved unable to convince La Dei to part with him.

Wolfsburg’s Wout Weghorst, Napoli’s Lorenzo Insigne, and Lazio’s Joaquin Correa, the preferred target of head coach Simone Inzaghi, remain on the club’s radar and could be quickly turned to should Zapata be unattainable.
