Lorenzo Insigne’s agent Vincenzo Pisacane is expected in Milan soon and could work out an agreement on a free transfer to Inter next summer for the Napoli captain.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the meeting could iron out the details with the Nerazzurri ready to offer the winger €6 million net per season plus a €7 million signing bonus next summer, while the Partenopei are currently asking €30 million for him.

Insigne’s contract talks with his current club are at a standstill, and the 30-year-old could leave this summer if his club wish to receive a fee for him, or depart next summer as a free agent.

The Nerazzurri are interested in both possibilities, but are seriously considering the possibility of waiting one year to sign him without a transfer fee rather than trying to persuade Napoli before the closing of the transfer window.
