Inter could see two debutantes among their starting eleven for Saturday’s Serie A opener against Genoa, in the form of Martin Satriano and Federico Dimarco.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the pair, who have been fixtures throughout the Nerazzurri’s preseason, have a high likelihood of appearing from the start or off the bench.

Satriano has followed up an impressive campaign with the Primavera side last season with an eye-catching preseason, and he could be in the first-team plans of head coach Simone Inzaghi.

Saturday could mark the Uruguayan’s first-team debut for the Nerazzurri, especially given that the club still look very light in forward areas with Lautaro Martinez out through suspension and Alexis Sanchez missing due to an injury.

Meanwhile, Dimarco will give Ivan Perisic serious competition for the place on the left side of the team, having also impressed in preseason following his return from a loan with Hellas Verona this summer.

Otherwise, it is probable that Inzaghi could repeat the starting eleven he employed in the final friendly of the summer against Dynamo Kiev, with the first-choice back three in place and Stefano Sensi playing in support of new signing Edin Dzeko.
