Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti is a target for Cagliari this summer, with Rossoblu Sporting Director Stefano Capozucca an admirer of the 22-year-old and hoping to bring him in.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Sardinian side could make a push for Pinamonti before the transfer window closes.

Pinamonti has looked close to the exit door at Inter for much of the season, with the player linked with a number of possible moves away either on loan or on a permanent basis, and out of favour at the Giuseppe Meazza.

Empoli are still leading the chase for the striker, but Cagliari could also be set to make a major push for him.

It appears clear that Pinamonti will almost certainly leave this summer, but it remains to be seen where with a dramatic final chase for his signature still possible in the next couple weeks.
