Inter could move for Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic, with the Bosnian expected to depart the Camp Nou this summer and a return to Juventus unlikely.

This according to Spanish news outlet Sport, who report that the 31-year-old is on his way out from the Catalan giants and that the Nerazzurri are the favourites to sign him although other clubs are also in for him.

Pjanic has been linked with a move to Juventus, but after the Bianconeri signed Manuel Locatelli they have too many midfielders in their squad to make room for him, and would only move for him if they can sell Aaron Ramsey.

This leaves the Nerazzurri as the most plausible destination for the 31-year-old, although as with Juventus they also have a full complement of midfielders in their squad, although the Barcelona man could be brought in as a replacement for Marcelo Brozovic should he leave.

For the moment, Pjanic’s future is uncertain, but a split from his current clubs looks on the cards before the transfer window shuts and the Nerazzurri could bring him in.
