Inter are still interested in signing Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez, but won’t move for him until closer to the end of the transfer window.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Uruguayan has not fallen off of the Nerazzurri’s radar but that he is not the priority right now and will be dealt with in the coming weeks.
A deal had reportedly been close that would see Nandez move to the Giuseppe Meazza, but it fell apart and now the Rossoblu are thought to be reluctant to allow the player to leave and join Inter based on the offer put forward by the Nerazzurri.
However, the player is determined to join the Nerazzurri and could push for his exit from Sardinia.
Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in Nandez, but it is Inter who he has his heart set on, and the club are still planning to make a further effort to convince Cagliari before the transfer window shuts.
