Inter striker Eddie Salcedo looks close to a loan move to Genoa, with the Griffone ready to bring him in as an attacking reinforcement for the upcoming season.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reports on his homepage that the Ligurian club are ready to complete the signing of the 19-year-old.

Salcedo returned to Inter this summer following two seasons on loan with Genoa, and his immediate future has not been clear, with a loan away the most likely possibility but the destination unclear.

Genoa now look to be where he will play his football during the upcoming season, with the club looking to complete a double swoop for him and out-of-contract Napoli defender Nikola Maksomovic.

The Ligurians have already loaned in Belgian defender Zinho Vanheusden from the Nerazzurri this summer, and Salcedo would be their second loan arrival of an Inter player.
