Inter will meet with the agent of Lautaro Martinez again in September after a successful round of talks that took place this afternoon.
This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that the next meeting with the Argentine’s agent Alejandro Camano could finalize an agreement on a new contract for him after today’s negotiations were positive and moved things along close to an agreement.
The will of both the Nerazzurri and Martinez is to find an agreement that secures the 23-year-old’s future at the Giuseppe Meazza, and the only matter needing to be resolved is the question of wages.
Today’s meeting brought the parties closer together, with the club coming up to around €6 million net per season with their offer, and it is thought that with some add-ons added they can satisfy the player and his agent.
The next meeting is hoped to be able to reach exactly this agreement, and the striker’s Inter future could soon be committed with a new deal.
