Borussia Monchengladbach’s Marcus Thuram is a target for Inter in their search for attacking reinforcements this summer, but he is behind Lazio’s Joaquin Correa in their consideration.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 24-year-old has been proposed to the Nerazzurri by his agent Mino Raiola but that he is still only one name on their list.

The Nerazzurri are stepping up their search for a striker as the closing of the transfer window draws nearer, and Thuram’s name has been added to a list with several targets given serious consideration.

Duvan Zapata could prove difficult to sign from Atalanta, while the club continue to monitor the feasibility of signing Lorenzo Insigne from Napoli, and Correa is also a major name on their list, liked by head coach Simone Inzaghi.

The club are receptive to the possibility of signing Thuram, but they still consider Correa a preferred target compared to the Frenchman.
