The price tag for Inter target Marcus Thuram has been revealed, with Borussia Monchengladbach asking €40 million for the striker this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the German side have given the Nerazzurri their valuation for the 24-year-old.

Thuram has emerged as a serious target in the Nerazzurri’s search for one more attacking arrival this summer, and the club could make a major push to bring him in before the transfer window closes.

Should they wish to do so, they now have a clearer idea of the financial effort that it will take to sign the Frenchman, though it remains to be seen if Gladbach would be willing to negotiate on the fee involved in a deal.

Thuram has yet to jump ahead of other targets as the Nerazzurri’s priority arrival this summer, but they can now more clearly assess the viability of signing him.
