Young Inter striker Eddie Salcedo is close to the exit door for next season, with Inter and Genoa close to agreeing on a loan move for him.

This according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com, who report that the two clubs are ready to complete a dry loan deal for the striker.

Salcedo returned from a two-year loan spell with Hellas Verona this summer, and his future has not been immediately clear, though the likeliest possibility has always looked to be a loan away from the club.

Genoa are now clearly in pole position to be the 19-year-old’s next club, and they are close to finding an agreement with the Nerazzurri on a move that would see the young striker play his football at the Marassi next season.

The Ligurian club could represent the right destination for Salcedo to continue on his path of development in the senior game after his spell at Verona.
