Inter and Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach are edging closer to an agreement over French winger Marcus Thuram.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio who reported on air moments ago that the distance between offer and asking price has been reduced in the past few hours.

The German outfit had slapped a €30 million price tag on the Frenchman and Inter’s first offer for him was lower than that.

However, contacts between the two clubs throughout the night and this morning have led to progress being made, the report continues.

New contacts between the two clubs are expected soon to see if an agreement can be found regarding the player’s price tag.

Inter are continuing to work on other fronts, namely Lazio’s Joaquin Correa although, it is possible that the Nerazzurri could end up preferring Marcus Thuram over all other players, Di Marzio concludes.
