Tottenham Hotspur have not given up on signing Inter striker Lautaro Martinez this summer, and are ready to launch another bid for him.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the English club could make another offer that would exceed the €70 million which they have already put forward.

Inter are determined to keep Martinez, and have firmly declined all offers from Spurs while they look to secure his future at the club by agreeing on a new contract.

After selling two key players in the form of Achraf Hakimi and Lautaro Martinez, the Nerazzurri will not wish to see the squad further dismantled, and keeping hold of the Argentine is a priority amid interest not only from Spurs but also from Atletico Madrid.

However, Tottenham have not so far been dissuaded and the Nerazzurri will hope that the pressure from the London-based side can continue to be resisted.
