Inter To Extend Contract Of Federico Dimarco After Summer Transfer Window, Italian Media Report

Inter will look to extend the contract of Federico Dimarco soon after the transfer window closes.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the 23-year-old has established himself as part of the Nerazzurri’s future plans with his performances in preseason, and that he will be rewarded with a new deal which secures his future at the club.

Dimarco returned from a loan with Hellas Verona this summer, an has wasted no time in making a positive impression on the staff and coach Simone Inzaghi in preseason.

As it stands, the wing-back earns €500,000 net per week on a deal which runs until the end of June 2023, but the club want to extent his deal to the summer of 2024 or 2025, and increase his salary to €1-1.5 million net.

The details remain to be settled before an agreement is found with the player, but the swift renewal and commitment for the future with the player is a priority on the Nerazzurri’s agenda.
