Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi would be happy with the signing of Borussia Monchengladbach’s Marcus Thuram, although Joaquin Correa is still his preferred target in attack.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that Thuram is now the Nerazzurri’s number one target in attack and that the coach would not object to a move for him.

Thuram emerged as a major target for Inter a few days ago and the club are already stepping up their efforts to sign the 24-year-old with a view to completing a deal soon.

The versatile Frenchman can play anywhere from winger to first or second striker and the club see his profile as the ideal one to complete their attack as they search for one more forward before the transfer window shuts.

Inzaghi still feels most inclined towards a reunion with Correa, with whom he worked successfully for three seasons while in charge of Lazio, as a target, but should the club prioritize the arrival of Thuram he will be happy as well.
