Lazio attacker Joaquin Correa is patiently waiting for Inter and his current club to reach an agreement so that he can join the Nerazzurri, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by transfer journalist Alfredo Pedulla on Twitter, Joaquin Correa has his heart firmly set now on a move to Inter. This is despite concrete interest from Premier League side Everton where he could possibly receive a higher wage than he will at Inter should the move happen.

Meetings took place yesterday between Joaquin Correa’s agent and Inter representatives which reportedly went very well. That is why Joaquin Correa now has renewed confidence that he will get the move that he wants.

More meetings will, of course, take place in the very near future but Inter are also progressing well in talks with Borussia Mönchengladbach for the signing of French forward Marcus Thuram who would be cheaper.
