Inter are now looking more likely to sign Marcus Thuram from Borussia Mönchengladbach rather than Joaquin Correa from Lazio as he would more affordable for the wage bill, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the French forward is looking very likely to become Inter’s final signing of what has been a very busy and chaotic summer.

The striker from Borussia Mönchengladbach would likely cost Inter just below €30 million but the Nerazzurri have bid slightly lower to see if the German club will accept.

A €20 million offer, as well as another €5 million of bonuses, has been offered to the Bundesliga side but they are more likely to hold out for extra money knowing that Inter is desperate to sign another forward after completing the signing of Edin Dzeko.

Joaquin Correa is still in the picture but would cost more in wages.
