Inter’s new right-back Denzel Dumfries has been named in the official squad for the Nerazzurri’s opening Serie A game of the season against Genoa, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been announced by Inter, the Dutch defender could make his first appearance in an Inter shirt on Saturday evening after making his move from PSV Eindhoven official last week.

Inter’s season kicks off against Genoa whole will be hoping to gain a positive result by beating the Italian champions on the opening day.

The other new players in the squad include ex-Crotone and former Inter youth goalkeeper Alex Cordaz, as well as ex-AC Milan attacking midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu and Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko.

Inter have a very lightened strike force for the Genoa game thanks to the injuries being nursed by Alexis Sanchez and Lautaro Martinez.

Edin Dzeko is likely to start the game as the main source of goals.
