Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez is still only interested in a move to Inter rather than any other club despite the breakdown in talks between the two clubs, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

As has been reported by Sportitalia, with quotes from L’Interista, the Uruguayan only has Inter in his head despite many other clubs now being linked with a bid for the 25-year-old.

Nahitan Nandez looked set to join Inter earlier in the transfer window but talks between the two clubs broke down over the loan fee. Inter wanted to pay €2 million but Cagliari were insisting on €5 million.

Inter then signed Denzel Dumfries which made the need for a player like Nahitan Nandez slightly less important.

Atalanta have now been linked with the player as part of a swap deal involving young striker Sam Lammers but a lot of talks still need to be held in order for that to go through.
