Inter’s Turkish midfielder, Hakan Calhanoglu, managed to endear himself to the Inter faithful within just 15 minutes of starting his first competitive game for the club after moving from AC Milan, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, it would usually take a lot longer for a player who has moved from AC Milan to become liked by the Inter fans. There would be a period of time where the player has to prove himself to them.

Hakan Calhanoglu passed that test in just under 15 minutes by delivering an excellent corner for Milan Skriniar to head in, and then firing a low shot from distance past Salvatore Sirigu to make it 2-0 to Inter.

He set the tone for the rest of the game and the team. Inter continued the high energy attacking by adding another two goals in the second half thanks to Arturo Vidal and Edin Dzeko.
