Inter have not entirely ruled out making a last-ditch attempt to sign Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina this summer despite him being an expensive option in attack, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by the online version of Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInter1908, the Fiorentina striker is still very much appreciated by the executives at Inter and they would love to make him a part of the squad.

A deal would likely cost around €70 million though which is a huge amount for Inter to spend given the financial difficulties around the club right now.

The thought process may be that by next summer, too many other clubs will be trying to sign him.

The Serbian has been linked with a number of teams this summer and in recent weeks the most prominent have been Atletico Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur. No bids have been accepted by Fiorentina.
