Inter’s newest striker, Edin Dzeko, has received a lot of praise and high ratings from various media outlets after the 4-0 win over Genoa on the opening day of the Serie A season, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by L’Interista, almost every major outlet gave the Bosnian forward a rating of 7.5 out of 10.

He received that rating from La Gazzetta dello Sport, TMW, and Corriere dello Sport. Everyone was in agreement that he had made an almost perfect start to his time at Inter after his free transfer from AS Roma this summer.

It was only Inter’s official ratings that were slightly different, with Edin Dzeko being given 7 out of 10.

The ex-Manchester City forward assisted Hakan Calhanoglu for Inter’s second goal of the game, and then added the fourth goal himself with a header after Arturo Vidal’s excellent cross from the edge of the box.
