The agent of Inter player Valentino Lazaro will arrive in Milan in the next few hours to try and facilitate a move away from the club for his client, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported today by L’Interista, the Austrian winger is very open to a move away from Inter and he is certainly not in Simone Inzaghi’s plans for the upcoming season.

Valentino Lazaro was one of the many fringe players that Inter wanted to sell this summer in order to raise money and help balance the financial situation that the club is in.

It was hoped that some good exposure with Austria at Euro 2020 would accelerate his exit from the team but he picked up an injury early in the tournament that ruled him out.

Portuguese side Benfica is being suggested as a possible destination, and Newcastle United have also been linked this summer.
