Inter and Lazio are hard at work on finalizing the details of a deal that would see Joaquin Correa join the Nerazzurri.

This according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, who reports in a tweet that a deal for the Argentine is close and that the final amount including add-ons will be in the range of €28-30 million.

The Nerazzurri have identified Correa as their primary target as they look to complete their search for a striker before the transfer window closes, and they are getting close to the finish line on an agreement with the Biancocelesti for his signature.

Both clubs are now hoping that a final agreement can be found by Wednesday, and talks are in the advanced stages with only the last details remaining to be ironed out before Correa can arrive as the second major attacking signing of the summer at the Giuseppe Meazza.

Pedulla’s tweet reads: “#Correa-Inter they’re working on €28-30 million with add-ons or on a percentage basis. Same intention as that of yesterday, to close by Wedesday.”
