Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal is committed to defending the Scudetto crown with the Nerazzurri, and he is prepared to give his all to do so.

Speaking in a live Q&A on his Instagram account, as reported by FCInterNews, the Chilean spoke about the challenges of the upcoming season, and was clear on his ambitions for himself and for the club.

Vidal has been linked with an exit from Inter for much of the summer, but the 34-year-old made a significant statement with his performance off the bench in the Nerazzurri’s 4-0 win against Genoa on the weekend, bagging a goal and assist in a 4-0 win.

The player wants to stay and prove himself at his club, and he wants to do everything he can personally to help the Nerazzurri defend the Scudetto, and to have a stronger Champions League campaign than they managed last season when they exited from the competition finishing last in their group.

“The goal is to remain Italian champions, to fight for the Champions League, the Coppa Italia, and for the Supercoppa Italiana,” said the midfielder of the Nerazzurri’s goals.

As for his personal ambitions, he was equally clear, stating that “I always want to stay at the top, and to give my best from a personal and professional point of view.”
