Inter attacker Alexis Sanchez is expected to make a return from injury sometime in September.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Chilean has been assessed on a calf injury in Barcelona and that the club are expecting him to be ruled out until towards the end of September.
Sanchez has been dealing with a calf injury for much of the summer, having missed all but 45 minutes of the Copa America with his country, and having already missed this weekend’s Serie A opener against Genoa he will also be ruled out of further action with the Nerazzurri while he recovers.
The club are expect to have him available for selection sometime next month, and will hope that he will be fully recovered from his calf injury and can put it behind him and build a run of form free of injury for the season.
