Lazio forward Joaquin Correa is determined to join Inter this summer, and he has rejected a move to Premier League side Everton.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Il Tempo, who report that the 26-year-old is demanding that his current club allow him to join the Nerazzurri over any other destinations.

Correa is now the top target in Inter’s search for an attacking arrival before the end of the summer transfer window, and they are trying to find an agreement with the Biancocelesti, who are still deamdning €35 million for him, on a deal.

The player’s will is to move to the Giuseppe Meazza where he would be reunited with Simone Inzaghi, with whom he worked successfully for three seasons while the latter was in charge at Lazio.

It remains to be seen whether an agreement will ultimately be found on a deal for the Argentine, but the player’s desire could be enough to push Lazio to accept an offer from Inter.
