Inter striker Lautaro Martinez will be fit to start against Hellas Verona on Friday, though it remains to be seen if he will be selected by head coach Simone Inzaghi.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri manager is considering whether or not to risk the Argentine from the start or play the same lineup as against Genoa.

Martinez was ruled out of the Nerazzurri’s season opener against Genoa this weekend through suspension having picked up an accumulation of yellow cards towards the end of last season.

The 24-year-old was also dealing with a minor muscle injury, though he is now fully recovered from the knock and available for selection going forward.

The Verona clash could be the first time that Martinez is seen in competitive action under the newly-appointed Inter boss, though it will be the coach’s decision whether he appears from the start or as a substitute.
