The future of young Inter midfielder Lucien Agoume looks to have been clarified, with the 19-year-old set to extend with the club and then join Ligue 1 side Brest on loan.
This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that the French club are seen as an ideal environment in which to develop for the young midfielder, and are close to an agreement for his signature on loan.
Agoume returned to Inter this summer from a season on loan with Spezia, and the club have been considering the best course of action for his future with a loan away for the Frenchman considered to be the likeliest possibility.
A number of clubs in Italy and France had shown an interest in bringing Agoume in over the course of the summer, but the Nerazzurri wanted to prioritize finding an environment in which the player could get adequate playing time and develop within the senior game, and Brest appear to be the destination they’ve settled on.
