Torino have joined the chase for young Inter striker Eddie Salcedo, and could loan him in before the end of the transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Granata will contact the Nerazzurri to begin talks for the 19-year-old soon.

Salcedo returned to Inter this summer from two years on loan at Hellas Verona, though it has been expected that he would be sent out on loan once again.

A reunion with his manager from Verona, Ivan Juric, could be on the cards for Salcedo, with the Croatian having switched to Torino and hoping for a reunion with the young striker.

It remains to be seen if the Granata can complete a deal for Salcedo, but they will make a push for him in the next week before the transfer window slams shut and would like to provide a familiar face to their head coach.
