Torino striker Andrea Belotti is waiting for a move to Inter to happen and will not accept a contract extension from his current club while he hopes for the switch.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that the 27-year-old wants the move and will not commit his future to the Granata.

The Nerazzurri are considering Belotti as a serious target in their search for at least one more attacking arrival before the transfer window closes, and they could swoop for him in the next week should they miss out on Joaquin Correa.

Belotti is out of contract with Torino at the end of June 2022, and the striker has not yet found an agreement and will continue to reject their offer worth a net of €3 million per season while there is a possibility of Inter turning to him.

It remains to be seen if the Nerazzurri will ultimately make the move for Belotti but should they do so the player’s will could become a decisive factor.
