Inter are considering a late move for Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca to complete their attack, with Alexis Sanchez not considered reliable due to his injury problems.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that the 22-year-old could be brought in alongside another attacker to ensure a full complement of attacking options even in the event that Sanchez is ruled out.

The Nerazzurri are accelerating their search for at least one more striker before the transfer window slams shut, with the likes of Lazio’s Joaquin Correa and Torino’s Andrea Belotti their main targets, but Scamacca could be brought in alongside one of these two strikers.

The persistent injury setbacks suffered by Sanchez have caused the club to feel that they cannot count on the Chilean to be available, and they could look to Scamacca as a signing to ensure that a fourth striker is always available for selection even when Sanchez is on the sidelines.
