Inter could face competition for the signature of Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca, who is now being tracked by the likes of Sampdoria and Hellas Verona.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reported on his homepage that two Serie A clubs are considering making a late push for the 22-year-old before the transfer window shuts, and are sounding out the Neroverdi about a loan move for him.

The Nerazzurri have been targeting Scamacca as part of their search for reinforcements to complete their attack, though with the signing of Joaquin Correa from Lazio looking to be nearly complete it remains to be seen if they would still move for him this summer.

Scamacca could still arrive as a backup in the central striker position, but after Correa is brought in the Nerazzurri will have four senior forwards in their squad already including Edin Dzeko, Lautaro Martinez, and Alexis Sanchez.

At any rate, two more clubs are looking to quickly find out the feasibility of signing Scamacca and could look to sign him ahead of Inter.
