Inter are contemplating a late push for Napoli captain Lorenzo Insigne as they look to finalize the process of shoring up their attack before the transfer window closes.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri could offer €20 million in cash plus midfielder Matias Vecino to convince the Partenopei.

With Insigne out of contract next summer and talks on an extension with his current club stalled, the 30-year-old could be on the move this summer and the Nerazzurri are closely monitoring his situation.

Inter are still looking to bring in at least one more attacking signing before the transfer window shuts, but two arrivals cannot be ruled out, and the Partenopei captain could be the last missing piece in their forward options.

A cash-plus-player offer could be made, and the inclusion of Vecino who has been a Napoli target could be enough to get a deal over the line quickly.
