Inter have agreed a deal in principle with Torino to sign Andrea Belotti this summer, though they are still waiting to see if a deal can be reached with their first-choice option Joaquin Correa from Lazio before the transfer window closes.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that the Nerazzurri are all ready to complete the signing of the 27-year-old should the Lazio attacker not arrive in a deal worth €20 million plus €2 million in add-ons, with the player also ready to make the switch.

Inter are trying to wrap up their search for one more forward before the end of the transfer window, and they are still hoping to bring in Correa, but they have also solidified Belotti as their Plan B if they cannot agree on a fee with the Biancocelesti.

Belotti’s current contract with the Granata runs out at the end of June 2022, and he has no intention of renewing at the moment, so the path would be clear to quickly move for him before the end of the window and his club would be amenable to losing him for a fee this summer rather than letting him go for free next summer.
