Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti has accepted the offer to join Empoli on loan, and is now in the process of completing the move to the newly-promoted Serie A club.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that the 22-year-old is all ready to make the switch and will complete all the final details on the signing, and then he will be off to the Tuscan club.

Pinamonti has been expected to leave Inter for much of the summer, with the striker having been out of favour under Antonio Conte and also not in the plans of Conte’s successor as head coach Simone Inzaghi, but the eventual destination for him has not been clear.

Empoli have been moving to complete his signing ahead of a number of other clubs in Italy and elsewhere in Europe chasing his signature, and it now appears that they are very close to wrapping a deal for him up.
