Lazio Sporting Director Igli Tare and coach Maurizio Sarri are encouraging club President Claudio Lotito to accept an offer from Inter for Joaquin Correa very soon.

This according to today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport, who report that the feeling among the Biancocelesti’s sporting staff is that the best course of action with regards to Correa will be to quickly find a deal to sell the player and then to move on and complete the rest of the transfer window’s business.

The Nerazzurri are pushing for Correa who is their top target as they look to add at least one more attacker to their squad before the transfer window slams shut.

They have put forward an offer of a €5 million paid loan with a €25 million obligation to buy, while Lazio are still demanding a valuation of €35 million and a different formula than Inter are proposing.

There is still some distance regarding the fee in this respect, but with Sarri and Tare hoping to move on from the player soon and Inter anxious to get their man, the motivation could be there for these differences to be overcome and a deal to be wrapped up very soon.”
